Plug In Baby
Now Playing : "Traumerai (Dreaming)" - Robert Schumann
With no reference to Muse's Plug In Baby, I am presently sitting in the tiny library in my tiny faculty and just a little while ago, with a heavy Powerbook and numerous items taking up all capacity of my two little hands, I searched high and low for a power source to plug in my laptop.
After struggling to bend down as much as I could in search for one, to my dismay there were none except for two sockets already being in use by two men with their laptops. Great. In total, this midget of a library has six six-people tables and free wi-fi.
But. two. power sockets.
Being a user who normally has several high resource sucking programs running at the same time, I am rather agitated at the fact that we are not provided with this simple amenity when they, at the same time, want to expand their services (read: wi-fi). In these two hours that I will spend here waiting for my next event to start, my Powerbook's battery will diminish quickly and thereby causing me to end my usage of my computer faster than preferred.
Sigh. On another note, it's practically lunch time and the canteen has close to nothing to eat. Despite it being the Puasa time of the year, do they realize that some of us still need to eat?
