Yegads! It's Friday the 13th!

I hadn't noticed it until just now, and I can fortunately (and safely) say that nothing bad or unlucky has happened today! I'm also not going to jinx myself and say "yet" because there are still three more hours to go before this wildly popular superstitious day is over!

As far as superstitions go, while I don't *really* believe in the bad luck a Friday the 13th would bring, nor would I hesistate to walk under a ladder nor even show the slightest fear in crossing a black cat's path, I do have one which I believe that if I do, it would just jinx and nix my possible good luck!! What is it you ask??

I will never cross my fingers, especially for good luck.

Not only do I find that it doesn't bring me good luck, it seems to make things go exactly the opposite way, even worse than how it was before I had crossed my fingers! I mean, although at one point during my wee years I did cross my fingers in hopes of good luck, it has become something quite futile as trying to find a leprechaun. So, no crossing fingers for me!!

Hopefully your Friday the 13th fares just as well as mine!

*Update* : Right after I typed up this post, my dinner (Nando's) arrived at the door and as usual, people really don't know how to take orders!! Some service!!! I had explicitly asked for NO chicken breast and what do I get?!?! Nothing BUT breasts! (Get your mind out of the gutter lol) I hate chicken breast meat. *Ugh!*

**Update** : After that I spilt my chocolate milk. Darnit!!
