Make up your mind!

5 hours 30 minutes.
That's how long I have left to catch a snooze before I have to (trudgingly) drag myself out of my comfy bed and dark, air-conditioned room to go to class.
Senior year has begun!
So I will make this post quick and short--well, as short as my fingers will allow me to anyway. I have two stories to tell. First, today I finally made it through the doors of Italian restaurant, Piccolo Mondo. I've always wanted to try the snooty looking place, but had moths in my pocket as usual but since dad was in a pretty generous mood today, we picked Piccolo Mondo.
Now, the food was good--although we can't help but compare it to superior Italianni's--and I had my first taste of fondue!! Basically, as the picture above shows, it was a cheese and mushroom fondue and cut up pieces of bread. To replace the bread with ravioli would cost you about RM2.50 a piece (ripoff!!!!!!) but we didn't and good thing too, since the whole meal came up to about RM240 for six people.
Nice place, but the least impressive thing about it was the service. The waiters there seemed to have no vocal chords and we literally had to strain ourselves to hear them. Also, they didn't seem very trained because they just chucked the plates at us without even bothering to let you know that your food has arrived. Pfft!

Okay, next story. For dinner tonight, I was babysitting so that means pizza!!! LOL ok, not really, we just didn't know what to eat. So anyway, I call Domino's up to order and the very perky and friendly guy on the other side of the line couldn't make up his mind what to call me! The phone call went something like this...
Me : Hi, I'd like to order some pizza.
Guy : Hi ma'am! Okay ma'am! Would you like to try our new special promotion blablablabla...
Me : Yes, I want to order the value set--
Guy : Okay miss! Which pizzas would you like?
Me : The meatball pi--
Guy : (Interrupts again) Ma'am, ma'am! Would you like the regular or thin or double decker crust??
Me : Uh, regular!
Guy : And the other pizza, miss?
Me : Pepperoni, regular crust too!
Guy : Okay ma'am!! Would you like any add-ons?
Me : Just some garlic bread.
Guy : Miss, your total is RM53.60.
Me: Oka--
Guy : (Interrupts yet again!) Your pizza will arrive in precisely half an hour, ma'am!
Me : Ooookay--
Guy : (In frantic voice) Ohhh, ma'aam ma'am ma'am ma'am ma'am!!!!
Me : .................
Guy : I'm sorry to inform you miss, that our computer just told me that it would take 45 minutes instead of half an hour to arrive. Is that ok, miss??
Me : Fine!! That's okay!! We can wait!!
Guy : Excellent, ma'am!!! Thank you for your cooperation miss!! Goodbye!!
*slams phone*
Seriously...couldn't he just have stuck to either "ma'am" or "miss"? I should've told him that I was too young to be called "ma'am" in the first place. Bleh!

hahaha, so 38 the domino guy... so which is better piccolo mondo or italiannies? food- and value-wise?
Oh, that's an easy one! Italiannies all the way, in all aspects! Both also a wee bit on the pricey side but if it's Italian food you're craving, there's no better place to get it than Italiannies.
