Florida trip Pt.2 : Miami/Ft.Lauderdale parks

I just realized that Part 1 was full of pictures with food in them. I originally wanted to include the below pictures in the first post as they share geographic similarities but decided not to after realizing it would make the post just too darn long.

Here are just some pictures of us going to "smaller" and lesser known parks (compared to Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World). Enjoy!

"You take right..."

"...and I'll take left!"

Going to a safari which required you to remain in your car is awesome. We got to see plenty of animals without being separated by fences or cages (well, mostly the "safe" herbivores anyway) and also had the privilege of seeing some of them up close--which made for perfect pictures. This giraffe was very near our car when this was taken without a zoom.

Thankfully, all the visitors adhered to the Drive Slow rule. I wonder if Malaysian drivers would do the same?

Was this what they had in mind when the term "Zebra Crossing" was coined?

You have no idea how long we had to wait for this critter to cross the road. XD

One of the main attractions at the Safari was the opportunity to feed giraffes. Hmm, come to think of it, so do most zoos. Anyhoo, here's one of Phil feeding one and...

...here's one of me looking all spazzed while feeding another giraffe!

"This small aquarium has a killer whale!!" exclaimed June. Aha, but they just have one! *smiles* Nowhere near as large as Sea World, the Miami Seaquarium was still a nice place to visit even though it rained a lot while we were there.

You can't see it, but we were beaming to ourselves at how lucky we were to not have sat in the whale's mega wet zone :D
