I'm Not Listening!!

Sue would've put her face there instead of an otter
 but she's suffering from zit-itis.

Now Playing : "Don't Look Back in Anger" - Oasis

"Lalalalala I'm not listeniiiiiiiing!!!!!"

Now try saying that repeatedly out loud at least another 10,000 times in one morning.

*Ick!*

I swear, everyone was sabotaging me today!

Everyone wanted to know how the new Harry Potter book ends!! OKOK, I don't blame them for wanting to know but come on people, can you wait until I flee from hearing range? And please don't elevate your voices in glee when I beg you not to spoil it for me because that's just cruel!! Jules, you weren't helping either--fuelling people's need to know the ending immediately by showing them the end of the book! Boo! :P

Wah liao, suddenly got a line! See picture? Still dark, but very glad I'm like person no.30-something in the line.

6:35AM

6:35AM
Hear someone scream "Eh, the line is at the other entrance lah!!!" Suddenly see people run very, very fast. So I run fast fast too. Cilaka, by the time I got there, I'm no more person no.30!! At least no.100 liao. Aiseh!

7AM
Wooooooot! First Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book sold to sisters!! One old man clapped kuat kuat. See more and more people walking away with their books with big big smiles.

7:15AM

Line moves very fast, making me lagi more excited. Wah, can see the book stock already! Shiok lah I'm getting my copy so fast! No need to line up under the hot sun later. Walked back to car with book in hands, shiokness only got so many people looking at my book. Cheh, don't want to look at me ah? :P

7:50AM

7:50AM
Drove off to McDonald's for breakfast. Waved at all the poor people still lining up with an evil grin.*Mwuahahah!* Maybe should faster read the last page and then wind down the window and scream out who dies!

Better not...after my car kena stone.

Brought along bag of Harry Potter books to McDonald's. Not trying to show off lah!! Just don't want people tengok inside my car and then steal them. Made a little girl excited. :P

8:30AM

8:30AM
See my beautiful new book? Got the children's version but since I take off the paper sleeve each time and all the words in the book are the same anyway, it doesn't matter lah! Also got a free poster along with the book...but cacat one. Why should I put up a poster of the book when I can just stare at my book? I wanna look at my book, not look at a picture of the book! Cacat!

Must blog!! Must blog!!

Ooops...I said that before hor!

Cacat poster. My feet nice hor? :P

Hypermarkets shoving wands up bookstores' *bleep!*

Excerpt from www.thestar.com.my

Now Playing : "You and Me Song" - The Wannadies

That complicates things, since I was going to go to MPH 1Utama tomorrow morning to buy my own copy of JK Rowling's final installment; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (did anyone notice how the article got the name of the book wrong? Some reporting!).

Earlier today, I did hear about these hypermarkets selling the highly anticipated books at these (cut-throat) prices but having to show up before 7am and face the highly possible masses turned me off and I would rather shell out RM109.90 to avoid all this.

But now, it seems that I have no choice.

If I do decide to join the hordes of people during the ungodly hours of the morning to get my book, wish me luck that I don't get trampled on or happen to hear some over-enthusiastic and impatient fan flip through the book to read the end of the book first.

Will definitely post pics.

Bloo-Me

Now Playing : "Modern World" - Wolf Parade

Sometimes we have our dumb moments. You know, elevator not going all the way to the top floor. So yesterday I was browsing around in the bookstore when I came across the stash of books in the above picture.

Bloo-Me.

It didn't register in my head.

I stared again.

Blu-Me.

Still, it didn't seem right.

Blew-Me.

I chuckled to myself.

Perversion was taking over.

But still, it didn't seem right.

Suddenly, it hit me. I smacked my forehead, cringing at my apparent bodoh-ness.

Blume!! Blooooom! Orlando Bloom!

Sheesh!

A brilliant book but...

Do Not Attempt To Read Unless You've Got A Person To Shag Afterwards.

Out of the Box!

Now Playing : "Scratch" - Kendall Payne

Sometimes, things just happen in the most ironic and bizarre manner possible. It was 10am, and my crazy mind was busy dreaming up crazy things (let me tell you, it was chaotic in my head up until I woke up) when I was saved by *knock knock*.

*GROAN*

I wanted to murder the person waking me from my precious slumber. In walks my ma bearing a gift! OOOH! Instantly forgiven! I took the box and tried to read what it was--but if you have ever tried reading small fonts 2 seconds after you've just woken up, it's like trying to read something with great granddaddy's bifocals.

Wooooooot! Phil's souvenir from Venice has arrived! Tried ripping the box open but someone *smirks* apparently loves to seal packages up so crazily that even a scissors becomes blunt! (LOL okok, obviously exaggerating, but it was hard to open!) Inside, was a very beautiful handmade ceramic miniature mask ornament called a maschera del galeoneapparently popular during the 17th century. (I was actually just expecting a simple small replica of a gondola, but the mask is simply gorgeous!) Here's a picture of me holding it up for the camera!

Don't ask. I was still sleepy. Meh.

Also, included in the box was a(nother *wink) t-shirt from Venice, a copy of Anthony Burgess' The Long Day Wanes (you probably won't see your book again until a couple of years later when I'm done reading it *snicker*) and a lovely card (which has Ian's stamp of approval since he called it "not cheesy like our dad's" LOL!) He stole it from me! You can get back at him next time :P

I simply love the pressies! Thank you so much, Phil!

*big hugs!*
