Singapore

Now Playing : "Tragic Mirror" - Sondre Lerche

Yes, yes I know. Before you say it, yes, my blog will be post-less (again) until Saturday. Early tomorrow morning, I shall embark on four fun filled days in Singapore! By "fun filled", naturally I mean I'm going to do absolutely nothing but mall hop all over Singapore! Sentosa? Pfft, too many times! Zoo? Ditto. The best part is that I'm going to be doing (most of) this all on my own and I am really looking forward to it since whenever I do my shopping I am never on my own. Not that I am complaining, but it'll be a nice change.

Won't be taking any pictures this time around. I would feel mighty pathetic camwhoring all over Singapore on my own ;)

Have a good week y'all.

These Are Monumentally Cute!!

My Absence in Pictures

Apparently, my absence of producing new posts have been noticeable. So, I've decided to share with you guys what I've been up to the past 18 days in not so many words becauseimtoolazytowriteanessay. Not too many pictures either but hey, they did say one picture = 1000 words. So I'm good. :P

The *main* distraction.
Was incredibly happy to have Phil spend his break here from the (too much) sun and sand in Afghanistan!

We went to watch Marie Digby perform in person at 1Utama. Too many people were cramped into just one mall, but it was a nice show. Didn't quite expect Phil to buy her album but I'm glad he did because I'm enjoying it *so* much!

Ran into cousin Kelz while at the showcase too! Love the shirt!

Finally went to experience feeding fishies with our feet at the Fish Spa.
Can't wait to go back for round two!

Met up with D-Man for movies and dinner. Provider of all things funny, as usual ;)

Celebrated a very significant date; my parents' 25th wedding anniversary. Had a wonderful time and ended up being happy to have Phil drag me on to the dance floor. Woot! Had cake.

Us doing what we spent most of the time doing; spending time together (at too many malls too many times).
18 days sped by too fast, but that only means so will the arrival of August!

Missing

Heh...will be missing for a couple of days folks.

Edit : Ok, so it's been more than a couple of days and I guess I'm going to be away for a little over two weeks. Don't miss me too much, guys. Btw, I love this pic!!
Phil : I love the shorts.
Me : *Whap!!*

Clutter

Now Playing : "Rhapsody In Blue" - George Gershwin

So today I cleaned up my room. Again.

Most of you probably already know that this is nothing new. There have been several posts over the last three years of my blogging dedicated solely to the cleaning up my war zone mess of a room. Heck, I think I even provided pictures at some point.

This time, no pictures...and I only took two hours this time. Rejoice! Being done with uni and having pretty much done nothing really productive (unless you count shopping), it was high time for another cleaning. Okok, you got me. My aunt and uncle are coming to stay with us tomorrow and I have to get this mess sorted out anyway. Meh.

As usual, post cleaning, I'm quite happy to say that all the unnecessary junk has been shoved into the bin and am left with a clean neat room--at least for now. Do I dare ask how long will it take this time for another bomb to hit? Nah, it doesn't matter because eventually it will and the whole cycle shall repeat itself. Also, I wonder if this is the last time I might have a room to clean up, seeing how now that my brother is getting older I'm going to have to be the unfortunate one to relinquish my small room to him.

Either way, I am going to bask in the wonderful feeling of having such an uncluttered room for now.

In Transition

Now Playing : "Green Sleeves" - Mozart

Well, that day has finally arrived. I am done with all the classes and all the exams. A new chapter of life beckons and soon, I'll mold and become yet another drone in society with a job with the sole reason of being able to pay for things; things that I need, things that I want.

But until then, right at this very moment, I do not feel any different despite my university days being over. Perhaps the feeling of no longer being a student hasn't yet quite sunk in or maybe it's due to the fact that the time is not yet right for me to find a job. In all actuality, I still feel like a freakin' student. One that's on yet another long inter semester break.

Because I am still bound to my university. I am still hanging with baited breath for my quite possibly doomed exam results. Let's not forget that graduation is only in August. Then there's the question of *knocks wood* failing exams...bound once more as a student. Whatever it is, everything right now is not official. I can't yet truly mold with the workforce of society.

In other words, I am still a student.

That puts me in transition. Neither here nor there.

Waiting kills me.

Final Farewell

The final farewell gathering today was truly a spectacular success! I had loads of fun and all the food was exceptionally yummy and we bonded for the very last time before venturing out on to our own roads not trampled. I don't have many pictures this time as my newly bought camera battery died on me, so guys, gimme your pics!! :P

Meanwhile, enjoy ;)

Idiocy and the People Who Practise It

This is utterly ridiculous!! What the fuck is this country coming to if one can't even hug or kiss their own girlfriend/boyfriend?!

The only things that were screaming in my head as I read this were:

1. The girlfriend had overreacted
2. So did her brother
3. The kicker : "agreed with the judge that the five-month jail term was excessive but said Mohamad Roslan had to be given appropriate punishment as a lesson for him and to those inclined towards such actions."

I apparently fail to see what the "offence" is that warrants such "appropriate punishment".

I hate how our human rights are being mishandled in this country.

Roxxxxy!

Ever since I've started losing weight, I've found myself to get much more excited about shopping. Previously, all I would want to shop for is for Apple stuff or electronics. Now it's that bag, and those blouses and this pants. I'm actually *really* enjoying myself right now even if 50% of the stuff I try on isn't that great looking on me yet :P

Anyhoo today I did some shopping and I finally got a new wallet to replace my current one that is falling apart and also got a new blouse which I'm hoping to wear to this Wednesday's farewell tea! Almost bought a pair of really fabulous sunglasses but it was too expensive :(

Birthday Boy

HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY,

PHILIP!!

I love you!

Many hugs and kisses!!

New Ride

Wa-hey my new car is finally here!!

Meet Spencer.

(And yes, I know it's weird that I name my cars :P )

I, Camwhore

Yesterday's camwhore pics are up!! OK, admittedly I'm in almost all of the pictures below, but by goshdarnit, I wanted to camwhore as much as possible because I dressed up! Nyeh! Anyone wanting high-res pictures just email me, if not just head over to Facebook. XD

Enjoy!

Lunchtime Camwhoring

OK I know I said I'd post up all the pics I took today at lunch but I've been bogged down with some unexpected stuff to do so I'll do it by tomorrow, promise!!

Lunch rocked!! XD

Pissed

I am so, so mad that I can't even begin to tell you exactly how infuriated I am.

And that I'm scared to death.

So much effort and so much work better not be for naught.

I really need this.

I really, really do.

All I just want is to pass.

Studytime!

Now Playing : "Symphony No.9" - Beethoven

Bah!

The important exams are on Thursday and Friday...but it's Monday already and I feel quite unmotivated to revise a second time. Heck, all my notes and books are lying here right next to me begging to be picked up and used but after reading a page, my mind drifts off someplace.

Maybe boredom, I thought...but then again, it couldn't be. I was bored the entire weekend and didn't do revision no.2 one bit and instead cleared out and reorganized my entire wardrobe. After removing five large trash bags full of clothes which were too large or just plain outdated and a couple of which, begged the question "what was I thinking?!", I am now left with a tidy but at least 60% bare closet.

Liberating? Yes. Satiated my boredom? Er, no...

This is really annoying since I know very well the pressure to do well enough to pass so that I can graduate this year. But, why isn't it stoking the non-fire in me to revise again?! Bah! It can't be due to overconfidence--I have very little, infact. Yet, I can't help thinking "oh, I already know this" each time I read random sentences in my notes.

Overconfidence is not my friend, I learned this a couple of semesters back.

*Prays* Need strength...and possibly a good whack on the noggin.

**Wehehehehehe revised again right after posting this. Woot!

Of things to come

Now Playing : "Wheels" - John Mayer

At times, I think that I'm sort of person who looks too much into signs.

Not the kind you see on the side of the roads or the one boldly declaring there's a sale going on in a store. No.

Signs, like things happening, whether good or bad, before a major event. Why I say this is simply because ever since I set out to buy my new car, event after event was unpleasant, deeply short of expectations and just downright frustrating. There just hasn't been one good experience so far and I wonder if these are signs of an bumpy experience with owning the new car. Of course, I put the blame wholly on the bumbling salesman that attended to me.

Sometimes, when things like these happen (no relation to the car), they turn out in two ways; one, that the signs really were signs and two, in the end I was able to say "putting up with all those frustrations paid off". I'm really hoping for the second option this time, since I pretty much have had lousy luck with my previous car and I'm already experiencing all kinds of bullshit before the new one even arrives.

I just pray that everything will go smoothly once I get my car.
