Bang 4 Buck

Lasagna, Spaghetti Olio (I think), Chilled Salmon Pasta, Carbonara

I've fallen sick, yet again...mind you with more or less the same thing as before. I seem to fall sick quite often ever since I started working and it's no wonder too, with the minimal air circulation and having multiple (sick) kids cough into your face and all that. Sigh, I really must build up on my antibodies.

Still, I managed to have a last spontaneous dinner before I have to hold off for awhile. Su Lyn and I skipped to Italiannies where we tried their special 4 pastas for RM30 and although as you can see, their portions were quite tiny and only meant for two, the excessive talking helped put a little air in our tummies to not make us order more! Quite suitable for tiny eaters who want a variety of delicious pastas.

I recommend this to everyone who want Italian food and are on a budget.

Not gone yet

Now Playing : "10,000 Promises" - Backstreet Boys

Hi everyone!!

Sorry for the mega long absence, I hope you guys aren't too bored waiting for a new post to come up heh! As you may have guessed, I have been really busy with work--and yes, I'm still enjoying it immensely--and almost always fall unconscious in front of the computer before you can count to ten!

But, as every working drone can rejoice about, it's the WEEKEND!!!

Ahh, bliss!

I am definitely not going to open my eyes until noon tomorrow, I am going to catch up on my shows and I am going to give my vocal chords a good rest from talking very loudly with children! Wheee!

Oh, and how could I forget? Have to catch up on my blogging as well! Although, there isn't that much to say, unless you want to read about my work, work, work and more work. But I can tell you this much though, the children at the center where I work are FREAKING adorable!! One of these days, I am going to give in and pinch some little boy's cheeks! Wahahahah!!

Justina, AWESOME dinner-dessert-coffee combo tonight! I loved it and I can't wait to see you next week! What more could we possibly catch up on I wonder?? Have we covered three years of being apart in one night? ;)

I, Camwhore

Yesterday's camwhore pics are up!! OK, admittedly I'm in almost all of the pictures below, but by goshdarnit, I wanted to camwhore as much as possible because I dressed up! Nyeh! Anyone wanting high-res pictures just email me, if not just head over to Facebook. XD

Enjoy!

Lunchtime Camwhoring

OK I know I said I'd post up all the pics I took today at lunch but I've been bogged down with some unexpected stuff to do so I'll do it by tomorrow, promise!!

Lunch rocked!! XD

Make up your mind!

Now Playing : "The Way You Look Tonight" - Harry Connick Jr.

5 hours 30 minutes.

That's how long I have left to catch a snooze before I have to (trudgingly) drag myself out of my comfy bed and dark, air-conditioned room to go to class.

Senior year has begun!

So I will make this post quick and short--well, as short as my fingers will allow me to anyway. I have two stories to tell. First, today I finally made it through the doors of Italian restaurant, Piccolo Mondo. I've always wanted to try the snooty looking place, but had moths in my pocket as usual but since dad was in a pretty generous mood today, we picked Piccolo Mondo.

Now, the food was good--although we can't help but compare it to superior Italianni's--and I had my first taste of fondue!! Basically, as the picture above shows, it was a cheese and mushroom fondue and cut up pieces of bread. To replace the bread with ravioli would cost you about RM2.50 a piece (ripoff!!!!!!) but we didn't and good thing too, since the whole meal came up to about RM240 for six people.

Nice place, but the least impressive thing about it was the service. The waiters there seemed to have no vocal chords and we literally had to strain ourselves to hear them. Also, they didn't seem very trained because they just chucked the plates at us without even bothering to let you know that your food has arrived. Pfft!

Okay, next story. For dinner tonight, I was babysitting so that means pizza!!! LOL ok, not really, we just didn't know what to eat. So anyway, I call Domino's up to order and the very perky and friendly guy on the other side of the line couldn't make up his mind what to call me! The phone call went something like this...

Me : Hi, I'd like to order some pizza.

Guy : Hi ma'am! Okay ma'am! Would you like to try our new special promotion blablablabla...

Me : Yes, I want to order the value set--

Guy : Okay miss! Which pizzas would you like?

Me : The meatball pi--

Guy : (Interrupts again) Ma'am, ma'am! Would you like the regular or thin or double decker crust??

Me : Uh, regular!

Guy : And the other pizza, miss?

Me : Pepperoni, regular crust too!

Guy : Okay ma'am!! Would you like any add-ons?

Me : Just some garlic bread.

Guy : Miss, your total is RM53.60.

Me: Oka--

Guy : (Interrupts yet again!) Your pizza will arrive in precisely half an hour, ma'am!

Me : Ooookay--

Guy : (In frantic voice) Ohhh, ma'aam ma'am ma'am ma'am ma'am!!!!

Me : .................

Guy : I'm sorry to inform you miss, that our computer just told me that it would take 45 minutes instead of half an hour to arrive. Is that ok, miss??

Me : Fine!! That's okay!! We can wait!!

Guy : Excellent, ma'am!!! Thank you for your cooperation miss!! Goodbye!!

*slams phone*

Seriously...couldn't he just have stuck to either "ma'am" or "miss"? I should've told him that I was too young to be called "ma'am" in the first place. Bleh!
